For the past couple of days we've been processing broilers, we're very grateful for the help of our friends! Justin Wright helped us on Monday and Elliott and Oliver Alexander on Tuesday. These are some pictures Katie took on Tuesday.

We were able to finish up with the processing before lunch. Before we went in to eat, we had to go round up our thanksgiving turkeys who had escaped from their pens and were sauntering over to enjoy the neighbor's lawn! After lunch and a short break we cut up two coolers of birds and then packaged them. This is the second to last batch of broilers for this growing season. We will be processing our last batch in December.

We actually adopted Justin, Tim and Ben Wright last winter. They come over about once a week to help with farm work:)
