Wedding Shower

About a week ago we had the privilege of attending the bridal shower of a sweet friend we meet last year at a Family Encouragement Weekend Conference. Here are some pictures, (taken by katie) from that day.
The shower was hosted by the groom-to-be's family in Culpepper, Va. Most of the Wilson girls made a day trip to attend the event.

The decorations were lovely!

Pictures of the happy couple:)

This little girl looked like a doll in her sweet little pink dress and hair bow.

The women took turns sharing godly words of wisdom to the bride-to-be.

Ice cream maker! The couple plans to have a farm.

It was such an encouraging event and so good to see our new friends again! Godly friends are such a blessing.

Happenings

We  have officially moved into the busy season here on the farm. The animal population is exploding!:) Lots of little piglets, goat kids, bunnies and even kittens. Farmers markets start this Saturday. We are planning on doing two this year. Mom and Becca will take one and Maddie, and I (Morgan) the other.

One of the things we're planning for and looking forward to is our Annual Memorial Day Shindig that we host at our farm. It seems to grow with each passing year;)

A couple weeks back, Dad hosted a special mens meeting in honor of William's 13th Birthday. It was a time of sharing, encouraging and exhorting from the men to William. I know he was blessed by it. We are so proud of the responsible young man he is becoming:) His rabbit business has really taken off and he is managing it very well. For the past couple of years he has had the desire to start a business where he can start saving for his future, Dad has been helping him in this new entrepreneurial enterprise and it is going well.

That is a little of what has been happening here at Full Quiver lately.

Happenings

Spring seems to have truly arrived at last! I find myself coming up with all sorts of excuses to be outside on such fine days:) There's nothing quite like traipsing bare foot through the soft, cool earth in the newly tilled garden. Over the weekend we planted potatoes and peas.

The cows were let out to pasture a few days ago, they were very excited!

Boy is that grass good!:)

Kittens!

Lucy washing eggs:) "Can you help me, pretty please?"

Hardworking Will working with Dad on a project.

One of the many recent projects: One of the farrowing shelters for the sows.

Recent group picture of the Wilson children:)

The Wilson boys, (It was so hard to get them all looking at that same time with smiles:)

Our family was delighted with a visit from our former farm intern, Collin Davis, a few weeks back. It was great to be able to catch up and reminisce about old times:)

Making caramel for homemade desert pizza. Yum!

Avoiding puddles:)

Ice cream party:)
This week is another busy one here on the farm. Lots of deliveries, baby goats, building projects and more! It hardly seems a chore in such lovely weather though!:)
Hope ya' ll have a good week!
